Freedom Smoke is a national manufacturer and global distributor of e-cigarettes and e-juices. Freedom Smoke’s e-cigarettes can be used almost anywhere, affording their customers the freedom to smoke whenever and wherever they like. Their e-juices come in a wide variety of flavors, allowing their customers to quit smoking at their own pace in a healthier, more enjoyable way.
When Freedom Smoke approached us, they were preparing to significantly expand their presence in the e-cigarette market. They needed a full rebrand that was impactful, appealing, and youthful. Most importantly, Freedom Smoke wanted to be branded in a way that would allow them to expand their target audience to include indie-minded college-to-young professionals.
Looking Back to Move Forward
To appeal to a wider audience, we marketed the brand as more than just a product; Freedom Smoke is a lifestyle. Freedom Smoke’s identity was designed around a traditional image of Americana and youthful rebellion, drawing from beat culture and a 70’s retro aesthetic.
Freedom Smoke has a desaturated color palette consisting of red, blue and purple. Using desaturated colors and adding vintage filters to all images creates a nostalgic, emotional connection with the customer.
